About Matthew Madison
Matthew Madison is a West Texas and Permian Basin oil and gas operator. He has run exploration and production programs across some of the most demanding ground in the country.
His field record includes successful drilling in the Connor Field in Lamb County and the Tunstill Field, a waterflood enhanced-recovery program, and deep-shale development alongside Shell in Loving County. He has worked every side of a well — picking the location, drilling it, bringing it in, and then pulling more out of the reservoir with secondary recovery.
He approaches the business the way the best operators always have: respect the data, question the easy answer, and stay honest about what the ground will actually do.
Field Record
- Connor Field — Lamb County, TX. Drilled and successfully hit.
- Tunstill Field. Hit oil, with a secondary-recovery program built on top of it.
- Waterflood enhanced recovery. Designed and operated a waterflood program to lift recovery from an existing reservoir.
- Shell — deep shale, Loving County. Partnered on deep-shale development in one of the Permian's hardest plays.
